Knife

Opinel curved knife Outdoor No. 8 blade length - 8.5 cm (of which 3.5 cm is specially serrated for cutting ropes). There is a special cut-out for 4-10 mm clamps. The blade is particularly strong - its thickness is 2.5 mm. The blade, made of 12C27 stainless steel modified by Sandvik and adapted to Opinel knives, is famous for its extremely high quality and easy daily maintenance. Steel is hardened by heat treating it by martensitic hardening. The carbon content in such steel is not less than 0.40%, so the blade is of high quality and resistant to corrosion.

Handle

The handle of Outdoor series knives is made of a special composition of polyamide plastic, which ensures high-quality service of the knife at temperatures from - 40 C to + 80 C. At the end of the handle, there is an integrated 110 decibel whistle and a synthetic fiber loop for comfortable carrying. Color - orange.
