The eye cups provide the user with excellent viewing comfort and reliable protection against stray light and wind from the side. And spectacle wearers simply fold the eye cups back for perfect vision. The lightweight housing is made of Makrolon, which makes the construction very shock-resistant. The prisms in the binoculars have "floating" mounts, meaning they are mounted in a flexible silicone material that protects the valuable optical components inside the binoculars. The formation of condensation inside the binoculars is completely prevented thanks to the high-tech nitrogen pressure system from Steiner. Thanks to the nitrogen filling, the binoculars can withstand temperatures between -20° C and +70°C and resistant to moisture ingress.
