With the Zeiss Victory HT 8x54 Binoculars, Zeiss has created a large objective binocular without the usual weight. Victory HTs feature high transmission (95 %) Schott glass which allows a 54 mm binocular to be brighter than standard 56mm models. The advantage of the 54mm size is that it requires less glass and narrower tubes, yielding a significant reduction in weight - shedding 9 ounces from the Victory FL 56mm class. The Zeiss Victory HT 8x54 Binoculars are excellent for birding or hunting in low light conditions and for astronomy.
